Electro Industries Announces KYZ Pulse Output and Low Voltage Power Supply For the Shark 100

Westbury, NY Electro Industries announces new features for the Shark 100 meter allowing it to provide an Energy KYZ pulse and to be powered from a 24-48VDC power source. This enables the meter to be used in many additional applications such as low voltage switchgear and telecom. Moreover, the KYZ module outputs energy pulses proportional to the amount of positive energy consumed. This is useful for energy verification, for sub-metering and for PLC control applications. The meter additionally offers RS485 communication using Modbus or DNP 3.0 protocols.
