Douglas, Isle of Man - Neil Dunwell and his Wilkins Diamonds team held an evening of entertainment at the Wilkins Diamonds shop on 15th November as a thank you to many of their loyal customers. The dulcet tones of a harp danced down the cold dark paving stones of Strand Street on the Thursday evening when at this time of year the majority of Strand Streets retailers had locked up and gone home for the night. The atmosphere in the small, tasteful shop was typically warm and welcoming with guests coats gathered on arrival and glasses of wine handed out from the tentative team of staff on hand.
It was obvious from Neil's (Wilkins Diamonds Manager) pre event pep talk to his team that this was not a sales evening but quite simply a way of saying thank you for the public's much appreciated custom over the past year and this was clearly evident as guests chatted and mingled in the relaxed and elegant surroundings.
Representatives had travelled across the water from Picchiotti, renowned as Italy's premier jeweller and Leo Wittwer who proudly state their maxim of “Don't follow trends set them.” Guests were indulged with their fabulous array of fine jewellery on display and their presence simply enhanced the evening.
The wine and food flowed throughout the night with the volume of conversation gradually increasing over the pleasant background music, finally culminating in the awaited Wilkins Prize Draw. With 10 fabulous prizes on offer including Ti Sento earings, a Montblanc key ring, Gucci bracelet, Dunhill Pen and a £1000 gift voucher as the top prize.
Neil Dunwell manager of Wilkins commented, “The evening was a great success and we had a thoroughly good time. The feedback from everyone that attended has been really positive. This is such a great way for the Wilkins Diamonds team to thank everyone for their support over the years and Wilkins Diamonds continues to grow from strength to strength off the back of our loyal customer base. We are proud to stock exclusive jewellery and gifts from the top brands around the world and look forward to continuing our relationship with our customers in the Isle of Man.”
