LOS ANGELES WOMEN IN MUSIC PRESENTS ANNUAL HOLIDAY BAZAAR AND MUSIC PANEL EVENT

Los Angeles.——L.A. WoMen In Music, the non-profit organization dedicated to providing career opportunities and education to women and men in the music business has announced their Annual Holiday Bazaar/Boutique and Music Panel event. This is an eclectic day for combining holiday shopping in one place for all kinds of cool and reasonably priced gifts with simultaneous music panels & networking. The event will take place at The Globe Theater at 1909 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd. Topanga, CA 90290, on Sunday, December 9th, from 10 am to 4 pm, followed by an open mic, hosted by Jimi Yamagishi from 5:30-7 p.m.There will be raffles all day for wonderful prizes including a Daisy Rock Atomic Pink Rock Candy Guitar. Just Plain Folks and LAWIM will offer panels & seminars to be presented by prominent music industry experts including Authors/Music Supervisors/Vocal Coaches and more. Tentatively scheduled speakers include:
Gerald White -AFTRA and singing for film/television
Liz Howard - Vocal Power method
Anne Cecere from BMI on Film/Television Music placement
Jimi Yamagishi of Songnet and Toni Koch of Clear Channel Radio
Harriet Schock—-Songwriting Workshop
Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.
Members of L. A. WoMen in Music include recording artists, music publishers, musicians, managers, songwriters, film composers, attorneys, label executives, recording engineers, producers, publicists, promoters, etc. – on both sides of the desk and stage. Members are from all career levels within the musical community from professionals with years of experience to those who are just starting out.
