The Classic Bed Company Introduces Hand Painted Beds

The Classic Bed Company has added a stunning line-up of French House hand-painted beds to its product range, bringing a touch of Parisian chic to its contemporary collection of beds and mattresses.

Crafted by Coach HSE Beds, the new designs mimic classic French frames and are shaped from beautiful Mahogany timber. Moulded into shape by master craftsmen, the timber is sourced from managed forests which actively practice regeneration programmes.

Martin Seeley, Managing Director of the Classic Bed Company said: “Our hand painted beds faithfully adhere to French designs. Each frame is of the highest possible standards and undergoes a seven stage finishing programme which includes sealing, painting, distressing and ageing. Most of these methods come from France and Italy and are replicated from original methods handed down from craftsmen to craftsmen.”

The French House collection is available in eleven different designs, each chosen for their elegance and comfort. From the traditional Portofino London and Ivory bed frame, each hand painted bed is heavily influenced by classical design methods. Exquisitly carved by hand, this is apparent in the unique Valbonne range which demonstrates subtle Louis influences. An extremely elegant and refined collection, the Valbonne bed displays a subtle deep cream distressed finish enhancing the style period.

For the completely decadent bedroom, the Chateau Linen line of hand-pained beds is a unique collection of French provincial style white painted furniture with Louis Philippe embellishments, intricate hand carved detail and individual colour and ageing, applied to create a stunning finish which is sure to be the focal point of the room.
