Hilldrup Moving & Storage is the 13th recipient of the annual award, which was established in 1995. The firm earned the recognition on the basis of its quality service performance in accordance with United’s five-step quality service process, as measured by data generated through a comprehensive survey completed by customers after the move. The Hilldrup organization met all United standards of performance, with two "best in class" and five "exceeds." They earned a strong 87% “Willingness to Recommend” score, an indication of their commitment to service quality as measured in the eyes of their most important critic – their customers.

Hilldrup Moving & Storage has been a consistent top-quality performer throughout its time with United, achieving the President’s Quality Award in 1996 and 1999, and becoming a Customer Choice Award Winner 11 times and Honorable Mention once since the inception of the awards in 1993. Additionally, in 2006 and 2007, the agency was honored as an Impact Award Leader, a testimony to their attention to claims and safety performance. Hilldrup team members also won Heart of Quality Awards for Move Coordination in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

For more than 100 years, Hilldrup has been a leader in the moving and relocation industry. The agency began as a one-man horse-and-carriage transportation business and has grown to an 800-employee global relocation provider. In 1964, Hilldrup became an agent for United Van Lines, and since then, it has continued to grow and prosper through their commitment to quality service.
