Clark Moving & Storage, Rochester, N.Y., an agent of Mayflower Transit, has received the fifth annual Mayflower Transit “President’s Quality Award,” which recognizes the top service performer in the carrier’s U.S. family of affiliated moving agencies. To be eligible for this award, the agency must have earned designation as a Customer Choice Award winner based on customer surveys returned during 2006 and 2007. The President’s Quality recipient is selected from this elite group of top service providers and clearly designates the award winner as the “best of the best.”Richard H. McClure, president of Mayflower and of UniGroup, Inc., Mayflower’s parent company, announced the selection of Clark Moving & Storage at the carrier’s convention held recently in Hollywood, Fla. Mayflower is one of the nation’s leading transportation service companies.
Clark Moving & Storage earned the recognition on the basis of its quality service performance as measured “through the eyes of their customers” and reported in post-move surveys covering every aspect of the moving service.
In earning the President's Quality Award, Clark Moving & Storage met all Mayflower standards of performance and had very strong standard average performance levels – with six “best in class.” Clark Moving & Storage also had a "willingness to recommend" score of 93.1%, a clear indication of their commitment to service quality as measured in the eyes of their most important critic – their customers.
In May 1985, Kathy and Rich Clark leased empty warehouse and office space and started Clark Moving & Storage from the ground up. Since then,
Clark has continued to contribute to the success of Mayflower.
Clark has been a consistent top-quality performer over the years, with Customer Choice Awards in 2002, and 2004 and an Honorable Mention in 2005. The agency also has earned top rankings in safety and claims, and Clark team members have won Heart of Quality Awards for Move Coordination in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
