FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nov. 10, 2007 - WrapMail, Inc., a Florida-based e-mail enabling software company, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a partnership with JAJAH, a global telephony 2.0 provider to millions of consumers and businesses, in which both companies will embrace each otherâs services to deliver better solutions to their customer bases. WrapMail and JAJAH's partnership demonstrates the trend of convergence in communications. Phones act as cameras, Web browsers act as televisions, and now day-to-day e-mail messages provide access to traditional calling, as powered by this recent collaboration. "WrapMail and JAJAH services are a perfect complement to each other," said Rolv E. Heggenhougen, founder and CEO of WrapMail. "This relationship will introduce WrapMail to a sizeable audience base especially because of JAJAH's adoption by well-known and widely-used Web sites such as Google, Craigslist, MySpace and more, and it will expose JAJAH to WrapMail's corporate clients."
WrapMail offers corporations and individuals an innovative way to convert everyday e-mail into a powerful advertising and marketing tool. A "Wrap" provides an e-mail with a Web site-like border using HTML embedded pictures, links and graphics within the message, resembling a Web page. Businesses subscribing to WrapMail services benefit from a professional e-mail look, increased Web traffic, brand recognition and product awareness. WrapMail also offers a free service called myWrapMail to individual users allowing them to create their own dynamic, interactive letterhead with personal pictures, links, blogs, themes, auctions, etc.
WrapMail will use the JAJAH platform to enable voice within e-mail to over 122 destinations globally. JAJAH will use the WrapMail service when communicating to its customer base. This represents a natural extension to the JAJAH service, of offering SMS, voice and telephony 2.0 applications.
"Email is the most viral form of communication and voice is the most widespread. To combine both makes perfect sense. We are delighted that WrapMail will use our platform for this
extension to their innovative service. The JAJAH platform will connect WrapMail to the most robust telephony 2.0 infrastructure available today,â stated Trevor Healy, CEO of JAJAH, Inc.
