Tooltech Spreads its Wings to Romania

Pune, India: Engineering Services Company, Tooltech recently acquired a 50% stake in Design Tech, a Romanian company, now renamed Tooltech Romania. Tooltech’s vision is to provide customers with cost- effective solutions, by expanding its base to more affordable destinations. Setting up an office in Romania, fits in well with this vision and creates synergy for optimal engineering service delivery.

Tooltech had earlier acquired a Company in Germany. While Germany provides high quality, Romania provides cost advantage thus enabling Tooltech’s clients such as BMW to gain on both fronts. The idea to expand operations in Romania was born out of BMW’s decision in increasing its body shell design work in cost-effective regions. Solid GmbH, an interiors specialist, is a partner for the project.
