D.O.A.’s 1995 Black Spot album re-released
• New D.O.A. drummer James Hayden
• D.O.A. live DVD "Smash the State" going strong
D.O.A. and Sudden Death Records are thrilled to finally re-release The Black Spot. This 14 track CD originally came out in 1995, but has been out of print for a number of years. When D.O.A. drummer Ken Jensen tragically died in a house fire on January 30th 1995, D.O.A. asked John Wright of NO MEANS NO to step in for the recording. Combining John with Joe Shithead Keithley, Brian Wimpy Roy Goble and Ford Pier, D.O.A. came up with a great album.
D.O.A. performed an over the top rockin' show September 27th at The Plaza Club in Vancouver to celebrate the release of their live DVD "Smash The State, The Raw Original D.O.A. 1978-81"
At that show D.O.A. also showcased their new drummer James Hayden (Von Zippers). Now James, along with his comrades Randy Rampage and Joe Shithead Keithley, have just returned from a highly successful tour of Australia. D.O.A. and the hard rockin' Australian band Rule 303 knocked 'em dead down under.
