“Travel is a personal thing,” says Newton as he explains the difference between a “vacationer” and a tourist. Vacationers go to relax, whereas, the tourist go to discover, learn, and absorb. With a light-hearted chuckle, Newton says in his friendly New Zealand accent, “Ah, after one of my tours you will need a vacation.”
