Acopic launch new website to promote the North East Digital Sector.

Northumberland web designers Acopic today announced the launch of the North East Digital Awards website - a One NorthEast venture to promote the work carried out by the North East digital sector.

The website signals a new direction for One NorthEast with a move towards a more community based format where members can register to submit entries, add comments and cast their votes.

Neil Turner of Acopic said "We worked closely with Pascal Fintoni, Head of business development at the the North East Regional Portal to create a new format for the awards. He wanted to make it more community-based and less formal than a traditional awards ceremony. The new website is the result of that."

The North East Digital Awards is open to any business or organisation located in the Northeast of England. Entrants can register up until the 28th February 2008 with the winners being selected by a panel of judges from the most popular entries in each category.
