Chicago Talent Development Company Brill Street Hires Managing Director

(Chicago, IL) – Brill Street + Company, Inc., the specialized Chicago-based talent development firm that places college and graduate students on short-term business projects and assignments, announces the hiring of Matthew Rausch as the new Managing Director.

Gilles Tanneur, the President and CEO of Brill Street, explains why he decided to hire Matthew in his first week of work with the company: “Even though Matthew’s staffing experience is significant, it was not a determining factor in my hiring decision. I chose Matthew for his extraordinary ability to solve problems, set up business operations and for his extensive knowledge of the Midwest market.” David Frej, co-founder, former CEO and now EVP of Marketing explains, “We are excited to have Matthew join us as our new Managing Director, as he brings fresh and focused experience to our leadership team.” Frej adds, “We love the fact that Matthew and Gilles worked together in the Midwest staffing industry prior to joining Brill Street; it gives them a head start in rolling out our central U.S. expansion. Matthew had been working in the human capital industry for over 12 years in various high-level positions before joining Brill Street. In his last position, he was the Vice President of the Ohio Region for CBS Personnel. Previously, he was Vice President of Operations for the Midwest division of the world’s largest staffing agency, Adecco, where he worked closely with Gilles Tanneur to reinvigorate the Midwest division. Today, Matthew says, “I am excited. I think the Brill Street concept is amazing and I will work to make it happen not only at a local level but also nationally. I believe Brill Street is the missing link between motivated students and the business world of today.”
