Richland, Washington (November 4, 2007) POSitive Software Company has released a free version of their popular POSitive for Windows point of sale software. The Basic Edition is based on the highly rated POSitive for Windows Premier software and shares many of the core features, including sales, inventory management, label printing, customer marketing, e-commerce and credit card processing. “POSitive for Windows Basic Edition really is free. It isn’t a demo version, or subject to time or other limitations”, said Wayne Heaton, V.P. of Sales for POSitive. “This is fully functional POS software that is ideal for many types of small retail stores”.
“Our free software program will allow us to offer additional products and services to a whole new group of customers”, added Heaton.
POSitive for Windows Basic Edition is part of a suite that integrates retail store management, e-commerce and credit card processing into an easy to use package. Users starting out with PFW Basic Edition can easily upgrade to a Multi-user version or the more powerful POSitive Retail Manager.
