In a program to regularly monitor customer satisfaction, Kitchen and Bath Warehouse (KBW) of central New Jersey, has posted an online questionnaire soliciting feedback from purchasers of its products. The company, an online retailer of bathroom fixtures and furnishings, is surveying the entire experience shoppers have from initial website contact to product installation and use. Respondents can win a $250 rebate on their orders if they are chosen at random from a group of finalists selected throughout the year for the thoroughness of their answers. A company spokesman explained that the survey, which can be found at: http://www.kitchenandbathwarehouse.com/survey.html,
is part of a renewed KBW emphasis on service. It has doubled the size of its customer sales staff, revised and updated website product descriptions, and extended its phone-support hours. Customers are being steered to the survey via their e-mail order and shipping confirmations, and during phone orders. Few other companies in this market sector are as actively involved in soliciting their customers’ opinions.
Kitchen and Bath Warehouse is a privately owned company whose warehouse operation in the Cranbury, NJ area will soon expand to include offices and a showroom. It promotes itself as offering Italian-designed, quality merchandise at up to 70% off list prices and personalized attention for each order.
