Trinity Academy Of Raleigh Announces New Head Of Upper School

RALEIGH, N.C. – Dr. Robert Littlejohn, head of school at Trinity Academy of Raleigh, a K-12 college preparatory school community located in North Raleigh, has announced that the academy has hired Dr. William A. Raymond as head of upper school. In this position, Raymond will manage the teachers and staff of grades 6-12, partner with the head of school on instructional and curricular decisions, establish and facilitate procedures and guidelines, and assist in implementation of a behavioral plan. Raymond joins Trinity Academy of Raleigh after 10 years at St. Phillip’s Academy in Newark, N.J., and Manhattan Christian Academy in New York City. While in New York, he received a Certificate of Recognition from the City Council of Yonkers for his work done on behalf of the Sharing Community, a nonprofit food ministry in the city. Raymond earned a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, an MBA from Columbia University, and most recently, a doctorate in education from Teachers College, Columbia University. A native of New York City, he resides in Raleigh with his wife, Gillian.
