FundingUtah.com becomes UtahAngels Exclusive Source for Business Plans

Utah’s oldest and most active angel group, the UtahAngels, announced that it will use business plans found on the FundingUtah.com web site as its exclusive source for business plans.

“FundingUtah.com has given the Utah Angels access to triple the number of deals,” said Scott W. Frazier, a member of the Utah Angels.

FundingUtah.com is one of 50 FundingUniverse websites designed to facilitate the connecting of entrepreneurs seeking capital and angel investors. With over $85 million in available capital, FundingUtah.com provides entrepreneurs a free online location where they can post their business plans to be reviewed by local angel investors.

“Before FundingUtah.com came along we gathered deals onto our own private website, exchanged comments via email and voted via email,” said Frazier. “Now we do all this on FundingUtah.com - in one quarter the time.”

FundingUtah.com helps investors accelerate the process of finding, reviewing and commenting on business plans posted by entrepreneurs. Investors can review plans and communicate within the investment group using a message board to make quick and easy decisions.

FundingUniverse is changing the way entrepreneurs and investors interact. Investors draw from business plans that are submitted regularly to websites designed for angel investors in their home state. Other geographically oriented sites, like FundingArizona.com and
FundingMissouri.com, are providing the same service to angels and entrepreneurs throughout the nation.
