Old Fields Sweeps Burlington-Alamance Homebuilders Association 2007 Parade of Homes

GRAHAM, N.C. – Hal Byrd, co-president of Union Ridge Development, Inc., has announced that the Old Fields residential community swept the Burlington-Alamance Homebuilders Association 2007 Parade of Homes with 16 awards. Six builders of the Old Fields community were represented in the awards, including Biltmore Homes, DenMark Construction Company, Vesta Homes, JD Mahoney Construction, Inc., Carroll Homes and M.L. Wilburn Construction, Inc. The winning homes were recognized at an awards dinner in honor of participating builders on Oct. 5 at Alamance Country Club. The 51 entries in the 2007 Parade of Homes were judged by a panel of out-of-town building professionals. The homes were categorized by price and judged for best bath, best kitchen and best overall with gold and silver awards given within each category.
