Ecommerce - The Evolution

Ever since the dot com burst, ecommerce took a back seat, but since the last year its again shown signs of a giant revival.

From school kid entrepreneurers running businesses with small or no budgets the thrust now is on real world working business models with sustaining cash flow.

No longer are those puny website shops important, but the reality is sinking in on placing the right bricks at the right step.

Internet has grown organically, so has the internet audience, indeed for the betterment of the internet. No one ever doubted the power of the internet, but in question was the hands those controlled pieces of the internet - Were the equipped well enough ?

2 years down the line from the first shakedown, one can foresee another shake down, a shakedown this time around on numerous small time web development companies.

Selling individual domain names or web hosting at $10 a piece cannot run businesses. A shake down here will again be another step in the evolution of the internet, and make it emerge as a winner, stronger and better.
