PROVIDENCE, R.I. – A new service called MoFuse, short for Mobile Fusion, is allowing bloggers to create a mobile-friendly version of their blog and it’s quick, easy and free.“The mobile web is going to be one of the fastest growing sectors of the internet in the coming years, and It’s largely been ignored in the United States, but that’s set to change” said David Berube, the Founder and CEO of MoFuse, “We’re seeing the mobile web almost equaling the ‘desktop’ web in Japan and other countries, and this trend is coming to America.”
MoFuse allows bloggers, both big and small, to easily create a mobile-friendly version of their blog in just a few minutes. Users of MoFuse have the ability to modify their mobile-friendly site by using a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor that is familiar in all the common blogging platforms.
MoFuse also doesn’t require any regular updating since it uses the blogs already existent RSS feed to continually update your mobile-friendly site.
One common problem with other similar solutions is that there is no easy way to connect the ‘desktop’ version of the blog, to their mobile version. MoFuse has a variety of options to easily integrate your mobile version into your full version. They offer an automatic ‘detection and redirection’ snippet that will automatically detect and redirect your mobile visitors to your mobile-friendly site as well as an SMS widget which will send your readers the link to your mobile site via an SMS message.
“One common problem we’ve seen is that there is no way of connecting your blog with your mobile blog, and we’ve really tried to tackle that issue” said David Berube, “allowing seamless integration of both your desktop and mobile blogging platform gives your blog a professional feel, and instantly gives you access to a larger audience.”
MoFuse is currently open to bloggers in the United States. International users can use MoFuse, but by invitation only.
