Childrensbookradio.com, an extensive and informative guide for parents, teachers, librarians and all individuals with an interest in literature, has just released an interview with Jean Craighead George. George, the well-regarded author of such books as Julie of the Wolves (Newbery Award, 1973), talks about her extensive and prolific career and gives a glimpse into how her passion for animals and the environment have kept her entertaining and teaching children for the past five decades.Other authors and illustrators that have been interviewed for episodes of the podcast include: Jane Yolen, writer of over 300 books for children and young adults, Ben Mikaelsen, author of Touching Spirit Bear, and Susan Guevara, illustrator of Chato's Kitchen.
