Kennedy Office Supply Partners with Operation Christmas Child

Raleigh, NC – Charlie Kennedy, vice president of Kennedy Office Supply has announced that the company has partnered with their customers to participate in Operation Christmas Child, beginning early-November, 2007. Operation Christmas Child is a program that will allow Kennedy Office Supply customers to fill shoeboxes with school supplies, toys, and personal items for children who live in difficult circumstances.

“Mary Catherine Sigmon, president of Kennedy Office Supply, introduced this wonderful program to the company last year” said Kennedy. “We decided to participate in this program again because of the tremendous success we had last year. Over 500 boxes were made for children in need last year. It’s really a terrific program.”

Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes should be standard size, with wrapping optional. The marked boxes may be filled with items for either a boy or girl, and within an age category including 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. The boxes may be filled with toys, school supplies, or personal items. A donation of $7 or more should be included to help cover shipping and other project costs. The boxes can be dropped off at any of the four Kennedy Office Supply locations or sent to Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child, 801 Bamboo Road, Boone, Nc, 28607.
