Philox.eu launches information and resource portal for students in Europe

Founder Robin de Vries said “When we started Philox, we noticed that study related information for European students was very scattered. Student portals are either very specific, focused on the fun side of being a students or targeted at the American market. That is why we decided to build a study and career related portal for European students”

The ‘study’ section on Philox Pro provides study tips, survey tools and information on how to do research. Because most members on Philox are interested in study abroad information, this section also contains links to scholarship information, language learning programmes and study abroad websites. The ‘travel’ page gives an overview of websites about student travels in Europe.

In the transition from being a student to their first serious job, Philox pro helps students to prepare for a successful job application by providing CV templates, cover letter tips and interview guidelines. The ‘work’ section provides links to the job market at European level. It also links students to websites about internships, volunteering, traineeships, holiday work and entrepreneurship.

The ‘test’ page helps students to discover more about themselves. It provides two personality tests, a ‘get organized’ test and a workplace test. It also links to external websites that provide IQ and EQ tests, career tests, language tests and skills tests.
