Directory is designed to complement his much lauded and much larger Coastal Eldercare Directory, but is intended for mass distribution in local Publix grocery stores and Super Walmarts. The pocket-sized book is 180-pages of full color with great detail to help readers learn more about the many senior and senior care services available in the Savannah, Hilton Head, Bluffton, and Beaufort areas. It is conveniently divided into 5 sections, including retirement and nursing homes, home care, hospice, medical equipment, and free senior services. It also features special sections on “New Ways of Paying for Senior Care” and “Senior Health and Wellness.”
As Reddan explains, “In a perfect world, we would just publish 20,000 copies of our big book (Reddan’s Coastal Eldercare Directory) and distribute them similarly to the little one, but our big book is too expensive to publish on such a large scale.”
He continues, “With this smaller book, readers will see a lot of the same great indexes and color-coding that the big book has. We also include maps where area senior services can be found. We call the Reader our ‘direct-to-senior-care consumer vehicle,’ while our big book is far more comprehensive and detailed.”
Reddan publishes Reddan’s Coastal Eldercare Directory annually. It is a detailed, 280-page guide to hundreds of eldercare services and companies in the Coastal Empire and South Carolina Lowcountry. It is distributed to area physicians, attorneys, accountants, clergy, financial planners, and any professionals who help seniors make good decisions.
Reddan’s other company, Coastal Eldercare Solutions, is a consulting practice designed to help area businesses restore productivity for their workers who are overwhelmed by the care-giving needs of their parents.
