{Cleveland, Ohio}—- A popular franchise industry blogger has expanded his internet offerings related to the world of franchise ownership, and has started a new blog, The Franchise Blog 4 Vets. {www.Thefranchiseblog4Vets.com}. This is the first ever blog on franchising that will be focused on war veteran’s returning home from Iraq, Afghanistan, and other areas of the world requiring our armed forces presence. Joel Libava, a Cleveland, Ohio franchise expert/consultant started the blog after a breakfast meeting with John Renner, A Business Development Specialist for Cleveland’s Small Business Administration {SBA} office.
“John and I were talking about a big veteran’s event taking place in November, in which John asked me to participate in as a speaker. I knew John from a few other veterans’ events in which we were both involved in, and our discussion moved to veteran’s resources. I told him that one of my current blogs, The Franchise King Blog was starting to get pretty well known” {www.thefranchiseking.com} said Libava, President of Franchise Selection Specialists Inc.
Joel’s discussions with John, combined with his knowledge of franchising led him to start developing this new blog. In addition, Joel has real world experience helping veterans get into franchise/business ownership. In 2003, Joel placed war veteran, Ray Toombs, and his wife, Margie, into the Maid Brigade franchise system. The Toombs took advantage of the VetFran program administered by several US Government agencies, in which discounts are given to veterans.
Joel also has been involved with the non-profit group, Disabled Veteran’s Associations, as an expert speaker for the past several years.
“When veterans return from combat duty, they are given so many options; they need help sorting through them. In addition to traditional employment resources, this blog will help educate and inform veterans about franchising, and the opportunities that exist. Traditionally, veterans make excellent franchise owners, because of their intense process and procedural training designed to help them follow a plan. After all, the franchise model is all about following a plan” said Libava.
Libava hopes to help veterans around the country investigate the right franchise opportunities, and interested veterans can call Joel toll-free at 1-800-460-4299 to learn about this FREE franchise matchmaking service.
In addition to this new franchise blog, Joel also owns The Franchise King Blog, {www.thefranchiseking.com} The Ohio Franchise Center Blog, {www.Ohiofranchisecenter.blogster.com} and a franchise website, State Franchise Centers.com® {www.Statefranchisecenters.com}
