Torry Harris Business Solutions appoints new Lab Director to manage company’s future growth plans

Bangalore, July 24, 2007 - Torry Harris Business Solutions (THBS), a global niche technology services and solutions provider for mission-critical distributed enterprise computing and middleware, today appointed B. G. Prasanna Krishna as its new Lab Director.

Prasanna has over 21 years of experience in the IT industry and brings to THBS his expertise in building practices that addresses all aspects of an IT Services based organization, like, delivery practices for large outsourcing deals, ensuring optimization and continuous improvement in quality, productivity and cost, quality framework adherence and definition, etc.

Welcoming him to the core team, Ashwin Krishna, Chief Operating Officer, Torry Harris Business Solutions said, “As part of THBS’ expansion and diversification of world wide clients, the company believes in strengthening its management by adding seasoned industry veterans to its senior executive team. In his role as the Lab Director, Prasanna is responsible for all aspects of Delivery in line with THBS's quest for ‘Customer Delight’ and ‘Excellence in Services’. He will be leading and supporting the ambitious growth plans of THBS and developing the ‘Centres of Excellence’ to incubate and nurture niche technology at THBS.”

Prasanna will also be responsible for the Quality assurance function at THBS and report directly to the CEO & President of the company. In his previous assignments, he held the position of Enterprise-wide Service Area Lead for Portal Content Development, e-Commerce and Lotus Notes at IBM Global Services India Pvt. Ltd. He has been a part of the leadership team in large MNCs and has been providing leadership in delivery of large, multi-year annuity accounts delivering year-on-year to the satisfaction of customers and growing the business. He is an alumnus of IIT Delhi where he did his post-graduation. He completed his graduation from SJ College of Engineering, University of Mysore.

THBS currently employs approximately 1,000 staff members worldwide. It is setting the structure to double the size of the organization in the coming year, to meet the needs of corporate clients who seek specialized services in the company core practice areas.
This senior level appointment is one of several that are being initiated to manage the growth.
