David Faustino & Kurt Angle to Headline Steel City Con

Pittsburgh, — Orangestone Promotions, Inc., Promoters of Pennsylvania’s Largest Toy and Pop Culture Convention (http://www.steelcitycon.com) has announced very exciting news about it’s upcoming March 24-25, 2007 Convention. David Faustino, famous for his role as “Bud Bundy” from the hit TV series Married With Children has agreed to appear at the upcoming Steel City Con Convention (a.k.a Pittsburgh Toy, Comic & Childhood Collectibles Show). David Faustino will headline what is already an amazing line-up of Media Stars, Wrestling Legends and Comic Book Artists. Steel City Con Promoter Dominic Alessandria stated that “we are very happy that David will be making his first ever Pennsylvania signing at the Steel City Con” Also part of the massive guest list is Wresting Superstar Kurt Angle who will also be on hand to meet fans of his TNA fame. Kurt Angle is an Olympic Gold Medal winner and wrestling icon. Robert Picardo, Star Trek’s Voyager TV Series “Holographic Doctor” will also be making a house call to Pittsburgh to meet show attendees. Matthew Atherton, (known as “Feedback”) winner of Stan Lee’s Who Wants To Be A Superhero? will be a big hit with Comic Book fans. Others include Wrestling Legends Jimmy “Superfly” Snuks and Virgil, Gary Sohmers (Appraiser of Pop Culture Collectibles and Toys on the PBS Program Antiques RoadShow), Don Rosa (Comic Book Artist and illustrator famous for Disney Comics McScrooge). Mr. Alessandria goes on to say that “we are proud that attendees and vendors from around the United States and Canada travel to the Steel City Con (a.k.a. Pittsburgh Toy, Comic & Childhood Collectibles Show). The Steel City Con is the only convention in the United States that consistently gives a collectible item(s) away at every convention to its first 1,000 attendees. The Steel City Con is by far one of the most reasonably priced conventions of this type for both attendees and for dealers. Mr. Alessandria goes on to say “if we can offer vendors dealer space at a low cost then they’ll be able to sell their items to our attendees for much less than conventions that charge huge amounts of money for dealer space.” General Admission for attendees is only $7 and dealer space is available for only $75.

As in previous conventions, attendees can expect to be treated to a great time. At every convention Entertainment Celebrities, Wrestling Celebrities and Comic Book Artists are brought in for fans to meet and get autographs. Show Specials are offered by the promoter to attendees who are looking for some great buys. Additionally, attendees can buy a ticket for $1 to get a chance to win $2,000 worth of collectible toys in the convention’s Charity Prize Drawing Event.
