Congratulations to Thomas Jefferson School of Law's Newest Attorneys

SAN DIEGO, CA, 6/15/16 - On Wednesday, June 1st, Thomas Jefferson School of Law bar passers, their families and friends along with Thomas Jefferson School of Law Board of Trustees members, alumni, faculty and staff came together on Thomas Jefferson School of Law's 8th floor to celebrate its newest attorneys."I would like to welcome all of you to the Thomas Jefferson School of Law," said Thomas Jefferson School of Law President and Dean Thomas Guernsey. "On behalf of the entire law school community I want to congratulate all of you who have passed the bar exam, I welcome you to the profession."
Thomas Jefferson School of Law Alumni Association President Jeremy Evans '11 also welcomed all the new attorneys to the Alumni Association and encouraged them to remain active with the school.
"What is the point of being alive if you don't at least try to do something remarkable," said Jeremy Evans quoting writer John Green. "The context of this quote is that the new attorneys have accomplished something remarkable by graduating from law school, passing the bar the exam and now going forth and do more remarkable things. "
The bulk of this year's new attorneys will be able to practice law in California, while others will be practicing law in Illinois, Montana, Nevada, New York, Texas or Washington state.
