Stand-Up Comedy Arrives In Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara, CA, January 21, 2015 - Carol Metcalf begin her fourth month producing live standup comedy shows at and The Blind Tiger. The first show of the New Year features headliner Jose Sarduy. Jose Sarduy is a Cuban-American comic who also serves as an officer and pilot in the United States Air Force. His act is a hilarious depiction of his upbringing in Miami with immigrant parents. He is the American dream and very funny. Carol Metcalf is a local comedian and actor. Carol has promoted comedy events for over 20 years in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.
The Blind Tiger is at 409 State Street, phone (805) 957-4111. The Show begins at 8 PM. Tickets are $15.00 at the door, $10.00 in advance and may be purchased at the Blind Tiger website blindtigersb.com. The comedy talent includes:
Jose Sarduy has performed throughout the U.S. and on National TV, including CNN, Comedy Central, the Today Show, and he hosts Stand-up and Deliver at performances throughout California.
Carol Metcalf lives in Santa Barbara and has performed at the LA Improv, as a regular at The Comedy Store, appeared on Comedy Central, and with Chelsea Handler on Girls Behaving Badly.
Karen Rontowski has appeared on David Letterman, The Tonight show and is a headliner at clubs across the nation.
Grace Fraga has appeared in comedy clubs throughout California and nationally and was part of Hot Funny Femmes at the Santa Barbara Comedy Festival.
Cat Wagner is an up and coming young comic who has appeared at clubs across California and winner of the Burbank Comedy Festival.
Melanie Baldonado is a regular at The Comedy Store in Hollywood and Flappers in Burbank.
