September 24, 2014 - Santa Fe, New Mexico – The American Photographic Artists announced the winners of the 2014 APA Awards and stated entries doubled in number since last year and were "very high in caliber." This year's competition received over 2,500 entries."Submissions in the APA Awards were truly extraordinary this year," says Juliette Wolf-Robin, Executive Director of the photography association. "We know it was challenging for judges to choose the finalists!"
The gallery of winners can be found here.
Wolf-Robin says the awards provide an opportunity to feature exceptional images from talented photographers, giving them vast exposure, both online and in print. "It's wonderful to showcase such great work, and we appreciate that the show itself, through the many entries, helps support the association and its important programs."
"I was delighted to see the quality of the submissions in the categories I judged," says Liz Miller-Gershfeld, VP, Sr. Art Producer, Energy BBDO. "I really enjoyed spending time with so much good work. The decisions were difficult; truly I wish there could be more winners."
