Chicagp, IL – November 2007 - Chicago writer Bryan W. Alaspa has agreed with Amazon.com to publish two of his novels for the new Amazon.com electronic book reader called The Kindle. In addition to the two complete novels, Mr. Alaspa has agreed to publish his hard-to-find and rare book series “Sin-Eater” for Kindle users as well.

The Amazon Kindle is a revolutionary new eBook reader just released by the company. It uses wireless technology to plug customers directly into the Amazon.com website so that they can download books, newspapers and blogs directly to the reader. Plus, the Kindle has new “electronic paper” technology that makes reading books, newspapers and blogs on the device more comfortable and more like reading paper.
“We designed Kindle to provide an exceptional reading experience,” says a release on the Amazon.com website. “Thanks to electronic paper, a revolutionary new display technology, reading Kindle’s screen is as sharp and natural as reading ink on paper—and nothing like the strain and glare of a computer screen. Kindle is also easy on the fingertips. It never becomes hot and is designed for ambidextrous use so both ‘lefties’ and ‘righties’ can read comfortably at any angle for long periods of time.”
“I have always wanted to be able to release my books electronically for eBook readers,” says Mr. Alaspa. “I was just waiting for the right technology to come along. Once I looked at the Amazon Kindle, I knew I had found it. I think it’s the future of reading and books and I am proud to be a part of it.”
Alaspa has released his mystery novel “The Vanished Child” along with the crime thriller “Dust” to Kindle owners. He has also decided to publish the first part of the “Sin-Eater” series of books that he has, so far, only released online via blogs and through MySpace.
“I think ‘Sin-Eater’ is the perfect story to be released through the Kindle,” says Alaspa. “Fans of the books can download them right to their reader. It’s pretty exciting.”
